Mars Society Belgium

On 16th of January a few space enthousiasts gathered and decided to found Mars Society Belgium.

Mars Society Belgium organised a conference for school children in Vielsalm. Here you can see Pierre-Emmanuel Paulis showing an astronaut's rations. The hungry astronaut on the right is Vladimir Pletser. On stage is a space helmet that is used for simulations in the Euro Space Center.

Mars Society Belgium organised in collaboration with the Flemish radio station Radio 1 and the Dutch technical university TU Delft a competition for the listeners of Radio 1. The winner of the competition received a parabolic flight in the Flying Classroom jet of the TU Delft.
